Upcoming Events at Nynehead Court – A Wonderful Autumn and Winter Ahead
As the seasons change, Nynehead Court is looking forward to a lively calendar of community events, full of creativity, celebration, and festive spirit. From our ever-popular Halloween Trail to the Christmas Craft Fayre and seasonal workshops, there will be plenty to enjoy for residents, families, and members of the local community.
Below is a round-up of what’s coming up over the next few months – we hope you’ll join us.
Halloween Trail
Monday 27th to Friday 31st October 2025, 11am – 4pm
Our famous Halloween Trail returns this autumn, bringing spooky fun for the whole family. The gardens at Nynehead Court will once again be transformed into a trail of ghostly surprises, pumpkins, and hidden clues. Children can explore the grounds, take part in themed crafts, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The Orangery will be open for refreshments, and donations towards the residents’ activities fund are warmly welcomed.
Halloween Crafts will also take place in The Orangery on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October from 2pm to 4pm. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for children to make seasonal decorations and keepsakes to take home.

Charity Coffee Morning in Aid of The Beacon Centre
Saturday 25th October, 10am – 12.30pm, The Orangery
Join us for a relaxed and sociable morning in support of the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital. The Orangery will be filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and tea, accompanied by a delicious array of homemade cakes.
There will also be a raffle and tombola with some wonderful prizes, including:
£100 cash prize; Free garden tour and cream tea at Nynehead Court; £25 Kanya voucher, 45-minute beauty massage; Cream tea at Brew Two; Two cinema tickets; Flower arrangement; And much more
Entry is free, and donations are very welcome on the day. All proceeds will go to the Beacon Centre, supporting vital cancer care for local patients.
Christmas Craft Fayre – Sunday 30th November 2025, 10am – 1pm, The Orangery
Come along and get your Christmas shopping started at our annual Christmas Craft Fayre. The Orangery will be filled with beautifully made gifts and festive creations, perfect for finding something special for friends and family.
Browse stalls selling: Jewellery, candles, and soaps; Dried flowers and art; Crochet and knitted items; Christmas decorations and bookmarks; And much more
There will also be a raffle, tombola, and festive refreshments available throughout the morning. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a friendly, festive atmosphere and pick up some thoughtful gifts ahead of Christmas.
Free entry – everyone welcome.
Christmas Wreath-Making Workshops – Wednesday 3rd & Thursday 4th December 2025
2.30pm – 4pm, The Orangery
Join us for one of our much-loved wreath-making workshops, led by our talented team, and enjoy a creative and sociable afternoon in the Orangery.
You’ll have everything you need to create your own beautiful handmade wreath to take home, with plenty of seasonal foliage, ribbons, and decorations to choose from.
Workshops include a festive drink and nibbles to make the experience even more enjoyable.
Tickets are £35.00 per person, and early booking is recommended as spaces are limited.
Christmas Concert in Nynehead Church – Full Details Coming Soon
Friday 12th December 2025, 6.30pm – 8pm
This year’s Christmas concert will feature performances by the Intermediate Wellington Silver Band and the High Park Music Group under 16s Orchestra, conducted by Hilary Wickham.
Expect a wonderful evening of music and festive spirit, set in the beautiful surroundings of Nynehead Church.
Tickets will be available on the door and more information will be announced soon.
