We currently have the following opportunities available:
Cook / Chef
Hours: 3 days a week, 9:00am – 6:30pm
We are seeking a Cook or Chef to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for our residents in a warm, welcoming kitchen environment. You will take pride in creating nutritious and well-presented dishes, using fresh ingredients wherever possible, and ensuring that every meal feels special.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking for others, understands the importance of good nutrition, and has a caring approach to food preparation. You’ll be part of a friendly kitchen team that supports the wellbeing of our residents through thoughtful and high-quality dining.
Handyperson
Hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm (Friday–Monday or Saturday–Tuesday)
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Handyperson to assist with general maintenance tasks around our home and grounds. The role involves routine checks, minor repairs, and ensuring our beautiful environment remains safe, tidy, and well cared for.
The successful candidate will need to be confident using IT systems for recording compliance tasks and maintenance schedules. A clean driving licence is essential. You’ll be joining a supportive team that values practical skills and attention to detail, working in an environment where your contribution directly improves the comfort and safety of residents.
Activities Assistant
Hours: 18 hours per week
We are also seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Activities Assistant to help bring creativity, connection, and joy to daily life at Nynehead Court. This rewarding role involves planning and supporting a variety of activities – from music and arts to gentle exercise and social outings.
You will work closely with our Activities Coordinator and care team to make sure every resident can enjoy meaningful engagement, tailored to their interests and abilities. The ability to drive a PSV is important, as the role includes taking residents on trips to local attractions, events, and places of interest.
