Easter traditions in the gardens and Orangery
The arrival of April brings with it one of the most anticipated events in the Nynehead Court calendar. The Easter Trail, running from the 1st to the 5th of April, has become a firm favourite over the years. Families return to wander through the grounds, following clues and enjoying the sense of discovery that unfolds across the gardens.
Alongside the trail, the Orangery will host Easter craft afternoons on the 1st and 2nd of April between 2pm and 4pm. These relaxed sessions invite families to spend time together creating seasonal crafts, offering a simple and enjoyable way to celebrate the start of spring.

Later in April, on the 25th, the grounds will once again welcome a gathering of four-legged visitors for the annual Nynehead Court Dog Show. The return of the May Fayre

Opening the gardens for a national cause
On the 28th of June, Nynehead Court will take part in the National Garden Scheme, opening its gardens from 2pm to 4.30pm. Visitors are invited to spend time exploring the grounds while contributing to a wider charitable effort, with all proceeds supporting the work of the scheme. It is a chance to experience the gardens at their seasonal best while supporting an important national initiative.
Summer moments to share
As summer settles in, the calendar continues with two events that bring a gentle sense of occasion. On the 8th of July, the Teddy Bears’ Picnic Lunch offers a relaxed midday gathering from 12pm to 2pm, inviting families to bring along their picnic companions and enjoy time together in the open air.
Later in the month, on the 26th of July, the grounds will host an afternoon event in support of St Margaret’s Hospice, running from 2pm to 4.30pm. With all proceeds going to the hospice, the occasion carries a strong sense of purpose alongside its social warmth, reflecting the values that underpin life at Nynehead Court.
