Celebrating Success at the South West Care Awards
What a fantastic night for Nynehead Court at this year’s South West Care Awards! We are delighted to share that our very own Kirsty was named Winner in the Care Assessor category, and Emma received Highly Commended Best Newcomer. Both awards are outstanding achievements and a reflection of the incredible commitment, skill, and compassion shown by our whole team.
The event brought together more than 250 finalists from across the region, representing some of the biggest names in the care sector. To be recognised among such strong competition – and to take home awards – is a remarkable achievement for our independent home. It is a proud moment for everyone at Nynehead Court and demonstrates the exceptional quality of care, professionalism, and dedication that our team provides every day.
The South West Care Awards celebrate excellence in the care profession, recognising individuals and teams who go above and beyond to improve the lives of others. Kirsty’s success as Care Assessor of the Year highlights her thoroughness, empathy, and leadership in supporting both residents and colleagues. Her attention to detail and passion for ensuring the highest standards of care make her an invaluable member of our team.
Emma’s recognition as Highly Commended Best Newcomer is equally special. Since joining Nynehead Court, she has shown enthusiasm, kindness, and a natural ability to connect with residents. Her award acknowledges her outstanding start in the care profession and the promise of a bright future ahead.
We would also like to thank Nick, who drove the team to the event in poor weather, ensuring everyone arrived safely and in good spirits.
