Easter is always a joyful time of year at Nynehead Court, and we’re thrilled to invite you and your family to join us for one of our most loved annual events, our Easter Egg Trail, taking place from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th April 2025, between 11am and 4pm daily (last admission at 3pm) Easter Trail 2025. Set within our 14 acres of glorious parkland and beautifully tended gardens, the Easter Trail offers a warm welcome to children, parents, grandparents and friends of all ages, as we celebrate the season of new life, fresh air and fun. Free to attend and open to all, the trail is the perfect way to spend a springtime afternoon outdoors, exploring the garden paths and leafy corners of the Nynehead Court estate while hunting for colourful eggs and hidden treasures. With themed decorations, surprises along the way and friendly faces to guide you, it’s no surprise this has become a firm favourite with both visitors and our residents alike.
To add a little extra sparkle to the opening day of the trail, our wonderful Activities Team will be hosting Easter Crafts on Wednesday 16th April from 2pm to 4pm (only). These relaxed, drop-in sessions are designed for little hands and big imaginations. Think bunny masks, egg decorating, springtime cards, and more. Held in the Orangery and surrounded by views of the gardens, the crafting afternoon is a chance for children to sit, create and enjoy some peaceful time with our team and our residents, many of whom love to join in or simply watch the creativity unfold.
At Nynehead Court, our events are always rooted in a spirit of community. That’s why the Easter Trail is open and accessible, with a gentle, child-friendly route, clear signage, and friendly volunteers stationed throughout the grounds. We kindly ask that all children are accompanied by an adult, and although there’s no admission fee, we do welcome donations in aid of our Residents’ Fund, which supports our year-round calendar of events, outings and enrichment activities Easter Trail 2025.
Whether you’re visiting with grandchildren, family friends, or neighbours, there’s a warm atmosphere waiting for you here. The trail has been thoughtfully designed so that even our youngest visitors can take part with ease, while older children will enjoy the gentle challenge of seeking out each hidden egg.
What makes Easter at Nynehead so special is the chance to enjoy time together in our stunning setting. The grounds of Nynehead Court offer a safe, spacious and beautiful environment to explore, with daffodils in full bloom, birdsong in the trees, and that unmistakable sense of spring in the air. It’s not unusual to spot our residents enjoying the trail too, often pausing to chat with families, admire the creative costumes or help little ones along with a clue or two. These moments of interaction between the generations are what make Nynehead events such a joy, real community spirit, full of smiles and shared enjoyment.
There will also be refreshments available to purchase, including teas, coffees and sweet treats, served in our welcoming event spaces, so you can pause mid-trail or end your visit with a warming drink and something delicious.
The Easter Egg Trail is open from Wednesday 16th to Sunday 20th April 2025, running daily from 11am to 4pm, with last admission at 3pm. No booking is required, so just come along and enjoy a great day out. For those joining us on Wednesday 16th April, the optional Easter Crafts activity will run from 2pm to 4pm in the Orangery.
