Celebrating Kim Horton’s Registration as CQC Registered Manager
Nynehead Court is proud to share the news that Kim Horton has now been officially registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as our Registered Manager. This achievement marks a very special milestone in Kim’s career and a moment of great pride for the whole Nynehead Court community.
Kim’s journey has been one of dedication, hard work, and a genuine commitment to the residents and colleagues she has worked alongside for the past two decades. Reflecting on her career, Kim said: “At 16 when I started working at Nynehead Court, I never considered about being the manager… now 20 years later I have received my registration as the registered manager.”
Her words capture the heart of a career built on steady progress, loyalty, and a passion for care. From her very first role within the home, Kim has always demonstrated kindness, professionalism and a deep understanding of what it means to make Nynehead Court feel like home for every resident.
Over the years Kim has held a variety of positions within the team, each role giving her the opportunity to grow her skills and strengthen her knowledge of the care profession. She has become a familiar and trusted figure to residents, families, and colleagues alike, known for her calm manner and her ability to support and guide those around her.
Her registration as CQC Registered Manager is also a sign of the strong, stable leadership that will continue to underpin the ethos of Nynehead Court. The Registered Manager is a key role in ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained, and that residents, staff, and families can all feel confident in the quality of life and support provided here.
